During the Kyoto Marathon 2017, we called for donations to be made for areas affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake and by the Kumamoto Earthquake, and based on your help we received many donations.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks for all your support and goodwill in making donations during this drive.
On the 23th of March, we held a donation ceremony at Japanese Red Cross Society Kyoto and all the donations collected as part of the Kyoto Marathon 2017 were given to the Japanese Red Cross Society Kyoto Prefecture Office for the Japanese Red Cross Society’s efforts in the disaster affected regions of Tohoku (East Japan) and Kumamoto.
We are praying for the swift recovery of both areas.
